These terms govern your use of CareerPilot AI (the "site," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to them.

The service

CareerPilot AI provides free, browser-based tools for resume building, ATS scoring, and career-document generation. The tools use rule-based logic and template libraries running in your browser — see the Disclaimer for what that does and doesn't guarantee.

Your content

You retain full ownership of anything you type into these tools — your resume content, cover letters, or any other text. Because this content is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers, we have no access to it and claim no rights over it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to:

• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site's infrastructure
• Scrape or republish the site's content or code at scale without permission
• Use the tools to generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or that misrepresents your qualifications with intent to deceive an employer about verifiable facts (e.g., fabricating credentials that don't exist)

No warranty

The site and its tools are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that any resume, cover letter, or other document produced using these tools will result in an interview, a job offer, or any particular outcome. ATS scores, salary estimates, and other computed figures are estimates based on general rules and reference data, not guarantees.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareerPilot AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including any employment outcome connected to documents created with these tools.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may update the site's features or these terms over time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
